Heath Willis currently serves as the Global Head of TheBar.com for Diageo, a worldwide leader in spirits & beer. In his role, he is responsible for the strategy, deployment & execution of scaling Diageo’s global ambition to get closer to consumers selling direct-to-consumer in various markets globally.
With over 20 years of online marketing, global e-commerce experience and digital/social/mobile project management expertise in B2B, B2C and D2C environments in diverse markets from Asia to Europe and the Americas, Heath has successfully led teams in a variety of industries in CPG and FMCG through various stages of digital transformation.
Prior to Diageo, Heath most recently served as Executive Vice President/GM of Direct Commerce for Flexsteel Industries, Inc, one of the oldest and largest manufacturers, importers and marketers of residential upholstered wooden furniture products in the United States. In that role, Heath led the digital and ecommerce transformation and acceleration strategy for the ready-to-assemble homestyles brand home and outdoor furniture division in addition to crafting the broader overall e-business strategy. While there, he also launched company's first direct-to-consumer (D2C) site offering for homestylesfurniture.com, updating UX/CX and developing strategy for 1P/3P hybrid marketplace sales approach.
Previously, he served as Vice President of North America eCommerce at Keter Group, a resin plastic manufacturer of garden furniture and household goods sold both in stores and via major e-retailers such as Amazon, Wayfair and Overstock as well as over a decade spent at The Coca-Cola Company, where he held a variety of leadership positions with major multinational customer-facing responsibilities in digital shopper marketing and eCommerce global capability. Heath also has retail experience, having worked at Walmart and Walmart.com, helping to establish the initial “buy online, pick up in store” program for the world’s largest retailer.
Heath received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a marketing emphasis from the University of Arkansas.
